Alexandra Williams handles a wide range of immigration matters, including removal defense, appeals, and motions to reopen. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with honors from Wake Forest University and her juris doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law. She speaks Spanish and has a broad base of immigration experience working in various settings, including Catholic Charities DC, Ayuda, Mil Mujeres, the International Human Rights Law Clinic at American University, and Immigrants First PLLC.

During law school, Alexandra was Research Assistant to Professor Jayesh Rathod, who directs the Immigrant Justice Clinic at American University. Alexandra also received the Outstanding Clinical Student Award.

Alexandra is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She has worked as a Trained Legal Observer for the National Lawyers Guild and she volunteers with Showing up for Racial Justice: Migrant Justice Team.

Alexandra speaks Spanish and is half-Colombian. She has lived in Cairo, Egypt and Panama City, Panama. She loves animals, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and running.
